Bereavement Notice: Mr. Cesario R. Bada Sr.

We condole with our dear classmate, Ruben Bada, whose father, Mr. Cesario R. Bada Sr., passed away last Wednesday, 25 October 2006 at 92 years old. He celebrated his last birthday last August 7.

Mr. Bada’s body lies at their residence at 24 Fontaine Street, East Bajac Bajac, Olongapo City. Internment will be on Sunday, 29 October 2006 at 2pm.

Let us also offer prayers for the family he left behind that they may find comfort and strength in Him who loves us.

2006 Mexican Baja Cruise

Royal Caribbean Cruise's Mexican Baja Cruise with Chito Ramos and Aurora, Sid Mendoza and Edith, and Lad Mojica and Jean Mackay-Mojica who flew in from Manila to join the cruise.

It was a 4 nights/5days affair to remember with ports of call at Los Angeles; San Diego; Catalina Island, and Ensenada, Mexico last August 28, 2006 to September 1, 2006.

Pampered with lots of food, entertainment, dining and state room services, created a remarkable feeling fit for royalty.

The OCNHS Diamond Jubilee Book

The forthcoming 60th celebration of our Alma Mater will be on the 15-16-17 of December 2006.
At this point in time, we as alumni would like to bring together all the necessary features of the product of our school since 1946 in a Souvenir Program (The OCNHS Diamond Jubilee Book).

Being one, we will appreciate it very much if you will participate in this endeavor to complete the family that makes us one. You could advertise as a family (siblings, your own family, or you and your friends or even your personal ads).

2006 Grand Alumni Homecoming Updates

The elected officers for the upcoming 2006 Grand Alumni Homecoming met last Saturday, 1 July 2006 and discussed the succeeding alumni general assembly meetings.

The Mendoza’s in RP

Isidro “Sid” T. Mendoza Jr. with wife, Edith arrived from San Diego, CA last June 16, 2006. They attended Edith’s High School reunion and gathering at Graceland Estates and Country Club in Tayabas, Quezon.

The Mendoza’s only stayed for a few days and they are already back in San Diego last Tuesday, June 27.

Even though the trip was a bit short, we were able to see them and we had some fun and tons of chikahan.

OCNHS Graduates from different batches met last Saturday at the school library and elected the officers for the upcoming Grand Alumni Homecoming scheduled on December 2006.

Summer Beach Outing

We had a beach party last June 3, 2006 at Driftwood Beach Resort at Barrio Baretto, Olongapo City.


Our lunch buffet included Inihaw na Bangus, Kinilaw na Isda, Ginataang Isda, Tahong, Suman, Latundan, Pakwan, Mangga, Pinya, Pakbet, Lechon (courtesy of Nora Osana-Capiral), Green Salad, Soda and Juice.

Impromptu April 2006 Batch Meeting

Jean Mackay-Mojica with her children, niece and nephews went for a treat at Club Morocco Beach Resort and Country Club last 23 April 2006, the group decided to have a spontaneous meeting regarding the upcoming 60th anniversary of OCNHS.

OCNHS is turning 60!

Calling All OCNHS Graduates!!!

2007 is the 60th year of our Alma mater. Planning for its significant celebration is already in the works and the third meeting was held last Monday afternoon, 17 April 2006 at the School Library.

Brenda Alcantara represented our Batch. Current presiding officer for the anniversary festivities is Mr. Jun Pascasio. The next meeting will be on Monday, 15 May 2006.

No definite agenda has been made as of press time but we will inform you as soon as everything is final and ready for dissemination for all graduates.

Kindly inform other batchmates and other graduates as well so that we could help our Alma Mater celebrate its 60th anniversary with a bang!
