Aloha from Hawaii

Thank you for Batch 70 for the beautiful fridge magnet, it is really amazing to see natural talent from fellow filipinos when it comes to art despite lack of resources and support.

Also, I want to thank Beth Garcia-Cabangis for the pressed flower calendar she sent with Jean. That was very thoughtful of you and I really appreciate it, it will be very useful for our office.

I was also very happy to see Jean and Rofely here in Hawaii, and glad they did despite their very busy schedule.

I hope to meet with some of our classmates in the near future, I am now retired and have an empty nest. My children have either married or away to college so I am hopeful to start enjoying life and meeting old friends. If any of you happen to come my way in paradise, please give me a call we have a couple of extra rooms at my house. You all have a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

always,
Myrna Nafarrete-Clemson

Acknowledgment to the Batch'70 Project

January 23, 2007

To: Zoe Jeanevieve V. Mackay-Mojica
Batch '70, OCNHS

It is inalienable right of every individual to receive education, which will enable him/her to become a productive citizen. Our government and some private institution, organization and individual join hands to uplift the socio-economic status of young Filipinos and the next generation to come.

We are very thankful to Batch '70 for giving us the Multi-purpose building and this building provides space for more than 500 DLP/OHSP students for their learning process. DLP means Distance Learning Program or also known as OHSP, Open High School Program are open to individual who are willing or wish to continue and finish their high school years despite of their age, works and walks of life. We have students that already 30-50 years old, a working students, those who have health problem that can't able to attend their class regularly. The building was also used as an Audio-Visual Room, where all departments can use for film showing. It is used to receive visitors from other schools/places especially when CLARAA was held in Olongapo City. It is also used for conferences and meetings of department heads and other school officials.

Distance Learning Teachers would like to express our deepest gratitude and we wish that may our good LORD multiply your blessings. We also assure you the maintenance of the building.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Respectfully yours,
Miriam Ellano-Adobo
DLP/OHSP Coordinator
