From Down Under to Manila

After years of searching, finally we were able to touch base with one of our Batch 70 classmates who have been based abroad for more than 20 years.

Victorino “Vic” Telo visited the Philippines for a short time with wife, Praxides. They are based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Lad was searching for him for some time and when they finally had communication, our recent reunion just passed. Vic is now active with touching base with other classmates and hopefully on the next run of Batch 70’s reunion, he will be able to join us.

Also present during the Seafood Lunch with Vic, was Cynthia Austria-Campos who is a fellow Bajac Bajac Elementary School graduate and classmate of some of the Batch 70 alumni.

Jean Mackay-Mojica treated Vic, Praxides and Cynthia at Huey Ying Restaurant at Dampa, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.

For those who know Vic and Cynthia, you could add them as friends in Facebook.

40th Celebration: A Ruby Reunion

Thank you to all OCNHS Class of 1970 graduates who made the 40th Celebration: A Ruby Reunion a big success.

The entire committee did a splendid job of orchestrating a reunion of this magnitude. The enormous success of the party reflects a painstaking preparation from the choice of venue, orderly registration, excellent food, great music, and a very well thought out program to its outstanding execution. We appreciate each volunteer's time and support. Each one worked very hard. We've done something extraordinary!

Congratulations! Our dream come true - and we’ve made it happen!



The whole event is a demonstration of the breed of students produced by OCNHS from the organizing committee and to all Batch 70 alumni who attended the reunion. Thank you all for a beautiful 3-day affair which we will always remember and be proud of.



To all our precious guests, loved ones, families and friends - "Our Thank You" just doesn't seem like enough. We'll remember all of you with warmest thanks and our deepest appreciation.

It seems like yesterday that we were in school; how the time went by so quickly. We're having delicious meals and lots of goodies. Plenty of cold drinks while dancing to the oldies.

Pasko sa Gapo 2009

The annual Christmas gathering of the batch was held at the Batch’s Building Project inside OCNHS last December 12, 2009 at 5pm and ended at 8pm.



36 classmates were able to attend the party and contributed with the potluck and enjoyed the exchange of gifts and raffle prizes which was donated by Nora Osana-Capiral. Present for the first time was Myrna Lavina-Fullerton, who recently retired in Olongapo City from Washington State.


Reunion committee members also collected the piggy banks distributed last year and counted the contents of each piggy bank and were deposited to the class’ bank account.
